I love public libraries. I have moved several times to different states.The first thing I do is get a library card. Going to the library gets me in touch with the community, offers reading materials (books and magazines) that I don't have to buy, helps with research and offers programming for children through adults. In fact, while in Chicago my husband used the practicing rooms to play the piano, so we didn't have to buy a piano. It is the the perfect 'recycle, reuse' environment.
